On Sunday, July 17th, we have a great day planned exploring a part of California many of you may not know.  It starts with our own private tour of Preston School of Industry, built in 1890 to rehabilitate rather than just house juvenile offenders.  The docent led tour through the old "Castle" is approximately one hour.  There are many steps and uneven surfaces so people with mobility problems will enjoy the museum displays and a "virtual" tour.

Afterwards, each car will decide how they want to proceed. You will all receive a list of local restaurant options that range from picnic grounds to fine dinning.  You'll also get a wine tour guide with recommendations (we had to go try the wines for you!). Other options are to visit the nearby gold towns such as Sutter Creek and Jackson.

Take advantage of this special price.  The private tours are now $ 20 each but we are only paying $ 15 each!

Registration closes on July 6.  No refunds for cancellations after this date.
