Pikes Peak and Western Colorado Outbound Journeys

We are now accepting applications for our outgoing journey to two clubs in Colorado!  Although planning is in progress, here’s what we know so far:

• Dates:  Colorado Springs Aug 23 – 30, Grand Junction Aug. 30 – Sept 5
• Clubs can host up to 17 ambassadors.
• Costs:  estimated total fees $890, not including airfare.
• Potential activities:  Colorado Springs:  Cog Railway to Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, US Air Force Academy, Glen Eyrie Castle (1903).  Grand Junction:  Arches National Park, wineries, etc.
• This will be a popular journey, so it is likely we will prioritize applications according to those who have contributed the most effort in support of the club.  So if you don’t hold an office, consider organizing a local event for our members or volunteering to assist in event or journey planning and hosting.  The incoming journey from Florida needs more home hosts and dinner hosts!  Also, we give priority to new members who have not yet participated in a journey. 
• Participants must be vaccinated and boosted, and be capable of the physical activities proposed, such as walking for moderate distances.
