Four Seasons Garden Tour and BBQ

Our May 27th activity will be a tour of the Four Seasons Community Garden in El Dorado Hills, which has been chaired by Pat Ghiglieri for the past 9 years. She, and her husband Bob, spend more time at the garden location than any other place within El Dorado Hills!

This garden consists of 14 raised vegetable beds and 3 handicapped accessible beds each divided up and assigned to individual residents for tending. There are also 12 specialty gardens including: An Asian garden, Flower Garden, Daffodil Hill, 2 English Gardens, a Rose Garden of 63 hybrid tea roses, Shade garden, 43 different types of fruit trees and a vineyard. The Serenity garden finishes off the last of the specialty gardens. The garden has been completed by the community members, all volunteers and has been noted by several garden experts as unique especially because it resides within a homeowners association and maintained by all volunteers.

Bob will be in charge of the BBQ and Pat will be available for garden stories and touring.

The cost is $5 per person. If you would like to bring a dessert, no one will object!

Driving instructions and the gate code will be provided a few days before the event - if you have registered.
