Did you know – that there are 9 Sacramento high school teams competing in the FIRST 2020 worldwide robotics competition? 5 of them will be competing in the regional competitions in Davis!
Come and learn about the game and see the excitement! There are 58 teams registered for this event, most from California but also a few from Nevada, Hawaii, Taiwan, China and Turkey! It goes for 3 days, with qualification matches and award ceremony on Saturday March 28.
Come for whatever part you have time for. No entry fee.

Each year, High-School teams design and build robots which compete in a worldwide contest. The kickoff is in January each year, when the teams get the game rules and the parts. (There are different rules and parts every year!!) They then have about 2 months to design and build their robots. Here’s a video animation of this year’s game (link).
