We will be taking a short trip to the quaint historic town of Locke on May 21 for their Asian Pacific Spring Festival. This is an opportunity for cross-cultural learning, with talks and demonstrations, arts and crafts, and entertainment—including music and a lion dance.
Food vendors will be on hand, the Locke Garden Restaurant will have lunch boxes available to purchase, and Al’s Place will be serving chicken chow mien along with their regular menu items. The event is free with free parking. For more information on Locke and it’s history, check out this website:
