LUNCH & LEARN MAHJONG - hosted by AARP at ACC
Have you ever wondered how to play the Chinese game, Mahjong, but never knew what it is and how to play?
The IN-PERSON event will begin with a tour of ACC Senior Services, a quick lunch, then a Mahjong lesson! The ACC's Mahjong Club will teach you how to play! Mahjong is an old, fun, and popular tile-based game utilizing strategy, skill, and luck.
The game is a great way to socialize and improve brain function for all.

Kathy Hart has been working with ACC Senior Services since 2022 to develop a community partnership with their organization and FF Sac. Their mission is to promote the welfare and enhance the quality of life for our community by identifying, developing and providing culturally sensitive health and social services for older adults. ACC offers a variety of support for seniors and caregivers as well as weekly enrichment classes available in-person and on Zoom. Kathy teaches watercolor classes for beginners at their beautiful facility. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about additional resources in our community, enjoy a lunch with other members and then learn a new game together.
