FF Sacramento will host a delegation from Ukraine for an Open World program November 10-18. The delegates will study US Veterans programs. This is part of Ukraine's Ministry of Veterans Affairs effort to consolidate veteran support activities, and veteran health care.
The Open World program is administered by the Congressional Office for International Leadership (COIL), a government agency directly funded by the U.S. Congress.
The delegates will meet with their peers at the Veterans Administration hospital at Mather and the VA Polytrauma facility in Palo Alto.
Plans for this visit are still being developed. Check back here for updates ... there may be a welcome party or a farewell party for them
And we need a few more hosts. It's a good opportunity to share some American hospitality and to hear some interesting things about what's going on in Ukraine. Please email Ray Missman (ray@missman.org) for more info.
