The Sacramento Jewish and Filipino communities have been working together to present the award-winning documentary:
"An Open Door: Holocaust Haven in the Philippines", directed by Noel M “Sonny” Izon.
Sunday, November 19 – 3:00pm-6:00pm at the Crest Theatre.
It’s a wonderful and mostly unknown story about the Filipino people taking in Jews fleeing Nazi Germany. Mayor Steinberg will be speaking along with AG Rob Bonta. Click Here for more details.
