Join Ken Cross and George Meyer for a Habitat for Humanity Home Dedication on 22 June 2024.
The next set of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento (HFHGS)Home Dedications will take place on Saturday 22 June 2024 at the Cornerstone project located at 44th Street and Highway 99. (You need to enter from 47th Street. The address for map purposes is 4596 Le Donne Drive. Guests will be required to park in the neighborhood outside of the new subdivision. )
Home Dedications are normally held at 10:00 a.m. on a Saturday morning. They are one hour long (10:00 to 11:00 a.m.) and give a great overview of the organization’s mission, vision, programs and services. Typical participants are the homeowners, HFHGS staff, volunteers, home sponsors, neighbors, and community leaders/elected officials.
This Home Dedication is for the last eight homes of an eighteen-home joint project collaboration with Mutual Housing California. Following the Home Dedication guests are invited to do a self-guided tour of the homes. Ken Cross will be happy to attend, conduct the tour, and answer/find answers for the Friendship Force Sacramento members. These dedications are pretty HFHGS staff intensive, so he will try to act as the buffer to conduct the tour and answer questions.
