Community Event at the Latino Center of Art and Culture
The Latino Center of Art and Culture is sponsoring its third annual community event, Oaxaca in Sacramento, 10 am to 4 pm, August 18, 2024. The event will be held at its center located at 2700 Front Street in Sacramento, CA 95818.
The event will feature dance groups from the eight regions of Oaxaca. Food vendors will sell traditional Oaxacan food and drinks will be sold in cantaritos, Mexican clay cups. Pottery and handicrafts from Oaxaca will be sold to the general public. The event will also feature music by various student groups.
The event is free for children. Adults will be charged an entrance fee. Parking is free to the public.
