Trails in Bloom is a day for community celebration at Hanami Line, a park that honors the history of Japanese Americans in Sacramento. This annual springtime event provides rich cultural exchange, workshops, and promotes cycling along the Two Rivers Bike Trail.

This is part of a celebration of Earth Day and Celebrate Trails Day at Hanami Line on Saturday, April 26th. There is a little bit of something for everyone. Start off your day with a River Clean Up at Township 9 Park (600 Riverine Way) at 9 a.m. or volunteer at the Mirasol Village Community Garden (601 Pipevine St.) with Alchemist CDC staff from 9 a.m.-10 a.m. and then bike over to Hanami Line to celebrate in community.

Join a social bike ride with Sacramento Bicycle Advocates. Ride starts and ends at Hanami Line. You can also join the bike ride along 4 stops. There are two meeting spots; meet at the CA State Railroad Museum (125 I St. ) or at AlphaBENT (1114 C St.) at 10 a.m. to ride together as a group. Ride ends at Hanami Line.

Pack your lunch for a community picnic or buy lunch right next door at Curiosity Café. Join us for free art workshops, nature activities, live music, free yoga and sound meditation, free face painting, and so much more!
