Saskatoon Revisited
Join us for our monthly general membership meeting on Saturday, Oct 17. Our ambassadors who journeyed to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in June will be sharing their journey with us. Twelve members of the Sacramento club were hosted by the Friendship Force of Saskatoon, Canada. Our club enjoyed the Saskatoon visit to Sacramento in 2024 so much that we were delighted to visit them and learn about that part of Canada. They shared with us their beautiful tree covered city, with it’s large river that reminded us of Sacramento. We saw wonderful art galleries, visited First Nation sites, enjoyed a “scavenger hunt” in their cute downtown area. Friendships were made or rekindled as we shared food and laughter. It was a wonderful Journey.
We will be meeting at the Fair Oaks Library, 1601 Fair Oaks Blvd., Fair Oaks at 3:30 pm.
