DISCOVER HOW GOLD AND SILVER BUILT THE AMERICAN WEST
Coloma-Placerville Day
Today we will take the Ambassadors to Coloma to show them the Gold Discovery site.
After the tour we'll have a picnic lunch in the Park.
Next we'll go the Gold Bug Mine in Placerville to see a "hard rock mine" where you can put on a hard-hat and tour the small mine ($ 5 per person). The afternoon will be free for wine tasting or touring other parts of the Placerville area.
