There will be a small fee for lunch (Ambassadors and Hosts are already paid). We will be car pooling to Tahoe. Chris will contact everyone before the event.

Donner-Truckee Tour

This is the final day of our Exchange. We will be car pooling the Ambassadors to Donner Summit where we'll discuss the difficulties the Pioneers had pulling their wagons up over the summit.

We'll visit the Indian Petroglyphs to talk about the prehistoric inhabitants of the Sierras. We'll also view the "China Wall" and the Railroad Tunnels.

Lunch will be hamburgers with all the fixins at Pat and Bob Ghiglieri's lovely home in Donner-Truckee (small charge for guests).

In the afternoon the Reno-Tahoe Friendship Force will take the Ambassadors on the last leg of their journey and the Sacramento club members will have time to enjoy the Sierras or head home early.
