Kathy Hart will be giving an overview of the reference cookbook titled 'Vegetables Every Day' by Jack Bishop. It's an amazing resource to help buy and cook today's produce.
Want to 'spice' up your fruit salads? Learn a simple spice that can be added to almost any fruit salad to really freshen up your taste buds! All attendees who register will receive a great handout titled 'Heart Food: 15 Superfoods Your Heart Will Love'.
Ellen Robinson will be showing us how to make a fresh and easy dressing and then put together a Caesar Salad in 5 minutes. Ellen has a passion for cooking and eating well. She focuses on healthy and easy methods so cooking is a not a chore. Ellen was a caterer and then a personal chef on private yachts worldwide.
Recipe for dressing:
Minced garlic (2 cloves), anchovy paste or can of anchovies (optional) Lemon juice - 2 T Dijon mustard - 2 1 egg Olive oil - 1/2 cup or more Parmesan - 1/2 cup or more Put ingredients in your food processor, blender or bowl - and blend

Ellen encourages those who are interested to join in with her as she makes her recipe for the dressing. Have handy - food processor or blender or bowl with whisk, and platter for finished salad.
