Chocolate Tasting Seminar!
Enjoy a pleasant Happy Hour with friends and learn about chocolate - its history, growth, production, types, uses, and ways to enjoy it. We have an experienced presenter, Frank Price, who was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Cote d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast, West Africa), one of the four countries that produce a majority of the world’s cacao.
Since we will need to do this presentation via Zoom, you will need to purchase at least two bars of dark chocolate ahead of time. Tasting the chocolate will be part of the presentation. Really good dark chocolate is fairly expensive. You’ll have a few days to watch for sales or deals to purchase your two samples. Members who live close to each other can buy one bar to share. A more detailed list of chocolates and other information is in the March and April newsletters.
