Let's explore Stockton and experience a cross-cultural adventure. We will meet at 11 am at the Cambodian Buddhist Temple at 3732 Carpenter Road in Stockton. After the temple, we plan to go the to the Haggin Museum before heading back home.
Cambodian Buddhist Temple (Wat Dhammararam) is an active Buddhist temple that features over 90 colorful and larger than life jewel encrusted statues that celebrate the life and story of the Cambodian Buddha. COVID-19 CHANGES TO ACCESS: the gates to the temple are unlocked during daylight hours. If you are healthy and symptom-free, please feel free to open the gate and enter to walk around the grounds (please close the gate behind you after entering). Please observe safe social distancing while visiting and wear masks. Bathrooms are unlocked and available for hand washing.
After visiting the temple, we can enjoy a picnic lunch (bring your own) and then head over to a local museum in Stockton.
