Friendship Force Sacramento will be taking a tour at Crystal Hermitage to see its tulip gardens. We will attend on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. The location is near Nevada City. It is about a 70 mile drive, which takes approximately one and a half hours.
Members should register here, as well as sign up for your tickets with the link below, so people can form groups and carpool to the gardens.
Once you have a group, or decide to go alone, you go to its website (crystalhermitage.org) to select our date and your choice of time and to make your payment for your visit, $10 per person.
People could stop in Grass Valley or Nevada City for breakfast before viewing the gardens, or people could view the gardens and then go out to lunch in Nevada City or in Grass Valley. One other option is the Crystal Hermitage vegetarian lunch nearby (5-6 minute drive) for $15 at exactly 12:30 pm.
This would be a great opportunity to try joining our Shutterbugs photography group as the topic for April is gardens. You could attend our April informational meeting via Zoom on April 7 at 1:00 pm. Next you could take photos while visiting the gardens. Then join us again via Zoom to share your photos and receive feedback from the group.
