Celebrate Summer!

Come celebrate the coming of summer with a family picnic at Heron Landing Community Park on Sunday, June 25, 4:00 pm to dusk. Enjoy each other’s company, some summer games and a meal. We will be serving grilled burgers - both meat and vegan - with all the fixings, potato and macaroni salad, chips, and watermelon. Water will be provided but feel free to bring your own beverage. Alcohol OK.

Bring your family – there is lots of room and 2 playgrounds. The park has a large lawn area, so please bring your lawn games and lawn chairs.

Bocce anyone? Bring your bocce balls to enjoy the bocce courts.

Heron Landing Community Park is located on Sunrise Boulevard at Justinian Drive, 5 miles south of Highway 50. Turn off of Sunrise Boulevard at the stoplight onto Justinian Drive, then an immediate right into the parking lot. There is ample free parking – park by the tennis courts to be closest to Pavilion B, which is just beyond the tennis courts.

Cost is $10 per person. Kids 12 and under free. Please register by June 21.
